Namaskar dear Parents, pujya Gurus and talented competitors,

January, 2016 marks the 51st year of SWAR SADHNA SAMITI's all-India classical music and dance competitions!
.
On the weekend of 9th and 10th of January, 2016, we feel honoured to conduct our 51st annual, India-wide competitions in Mumbai.

.
These competitions are the most vital part of our Samiti's missions, as they are a continued effort to unearth new talents, give them a fair opportunity, let them be judged in several categories by the best artistes and Gurus of each category, be it Indian classical/light classical vocal, Instrumental or myriad Indian classical dance styles. Every single year, new and deserving talent is given recognition at a ceremonial prize distribution, where they receive awards, both trophies & cash mementoes. Above all, our prize winners are offered the unique opportunity to perform on stage, later in the year, in front of a live audience, during our monthly music and dance programmes as well as for our Kishor and Bal Sangeet Sammelans.
.
We look forward to an even greater response from each and every one of you participants, for our COMPETITIONS, 2016, at the same venue, The Victoria Memorial School for the Blind, Tardeo, Mumbai.
Our Samiti has struggled to present increased cash awards for winners. This is in addition to our annual Scholarships for deserving participants in need of economic impetus, to ensure they continue their study of classical music and dance genres.
51 years ago, our Pujya Gurujis and Late co-Founders, Pt. KEKI S. JIJINA AND DR. ABAN E. MISTRY, established all-India competitions, to ensure dedicated efforts are continually made, in promoting and perpetuating Indian classical music and dance for our future generations. We endeavor to ensure that continuity, with YOUR help.
This January, 2016, be a part of this milestone 51st competitions, by participating.
.
The Competition form is attached with this email with all relevant details.
As always, please do not hesitate to contact our Jt. Hon. Secretaries for any query or assistance you may require.
Please email us at: swarsadh...@gmail.com
Sincerely Yours,
Jiten Zaveri,
President.
SWAR SADHNA SAMITI.
