Problems with expandRepeats

I'm encountering an issue when using the expandRepeats method on a score that contains volta brackets. When I call .show() after I've expanded, the treble and bass cleff voices seem to be completely separated during the bars where the volta brackets should appear. I have provided three screen shots to showcase what I mean. Does anyone know how to fix this/get around this issue?
