2009 School

Here's the start to some planning for the NEXT School in 2009.

Theme is to wear all the badges you can find from previous Music Under
the Mountains, Music NOT Under the Mountains or Music Under the
Southern Cross Schools.

Also been suggested that I send out the dots for some of the tunes
played in the Slow Jam plus the tunes that were played in the various
classes. I don't have the dots for these so someone will need to post
them on this list for all to see, thanks.

Karl will be putting up some photos again as he did last year and I'm
sure Damien will post his great photo of how he intends to teach the
Novice Pipers in 2009

We aren't quite sure of our tutors just yet - still negotiating some,
but we DO have Chris Duncan, Emma Nixon(intermediate Scottish Fiddle),
Catherine Strutt, Patrick Lyons, Damien Hingston, David Alleway (harp
class FULL), Barbara Scott (whistle), Mike Watts, so you can start
booking in for these classes.

This year the deposit must arrive either with the booking or not long
after it. I won't be waiting for 10 months only to find you're not
coming after all. Gives me greyer hairs and stress levels I don't
need.

So thanks once again to everyone who helped to make this 2008 School
the best yet - I know we say it every year, but somehow it's just
true!

Keep 'em rolling is what I say.

A HUUUUGE thank you to you both Beth and Mike, for my 2nd fantastic school
session. I paced myself this year and got home without falling asleep at the
wheel.

Looking forward to next year.
