Concert venue at the 2008 National Folk Festival, Canberra, for all past Schoolies

OK Folks, this is a great opportunity for the School (now called Music
Under the Southern Cross) to shine out at the National. Thanks in
advance to the Green Family who have put their hands up to take care
of it. I've sent their information and they would love performers to
get in touch with them - anyone, students and tutors, from any of the
11 Schools (two in one year remember - never again!).
See you all in our tent at some time during the National if you're
able to make it to Canberra.

Celtic Southern Cross have been successful in obtaining a venue at the
National Folk Festival for the blackboard concert for M(not)UTM
people. It will be on Monday from 3.30 to 6pm at the Henley
Theatre.
Sue and Phil have offered to run the concert and the blackboard.

We will endeavour to let everyone who wants to do so, perform.
However if there are too many wanting to to perform for the time we
have, we will give priority in the following order:

*First priority* - class groups

*Second priority* - groups and individuals where *all* members of the
group have been at a M(not)UTM camp and where the group or individuals
do not have their own performance at the National.

*Third priority* - groups and individuals where *most* members of the
group have been at a M(not)UTM camp and where the group or individuals
do not have their own performance at the National.

*Fourth priority* - second and third priority groups and individuals
who do have their own performance slot elsewhere at the National.

If we are still swamped by performers, we will draw names out of a
hat.

*When to put your name down*

We will accept names straight away. Please email us at

on (02) 62585221. You can also put your name down at the Celtic
Southern Cross tent at the festival.

The list of performers will be available at the Celtic Southern Cross
tent on Sunday afternoon. After that, you can only put your name down
if there is still room.

We are willing to be the MCs. However if anyone else would like to
have a go or would like the experience, please let us know.

So practice hard and give us some great performances to make Beth,
Mike and not least, yourselves, proud.
