The Music Theory & Musicology Society at the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) is pleased to announce its fifth biennial student conference:

Approaches to Analysis and Interpretation

The conference will be held in conjunction with CCM’s Thinking About Music lecture series and will feature keynote addresses by Kofi Agawu (Princeton University) and Thomas Forrest Kelly (Harvard University). In addition, our keynote speakers will participate in an interdisciplinary roundtable session considering the conference theme.

Students are invited to submit paper proposals on a broad range of topics within the fields of music theory and musicology. Submission guidelines are attached. Proposals should be submitted no later than December 2, 2013.
