Hi,
all my music, mpd database and playlists are on a sameparate hd.
Recently, I set up a new linux (another distro) using my music
collection with mpd+minion again. Everthing went smooth, I can play my
files etc.
But, despite the fact I can see my playlists in minion, they appear
empty to minion, which they aren't.
Freshly made playlists are working fine. The *.m3u files in the
corresponding directory at the music server all have the same
user.group attributes.

I have Minion 1.99.25

What do I miss?

it seems that it's a prob of mpd settings, not of minion

I had this issue myself.  MPD has a setting to use either absolute file paths or relative (relative to the music directory) in the mpd.conf file somewhere in the /etc directory.  If this setting changes between installations, that will cause this problem.  If you used absolute paths on both the old and the new, but the absolute path changes, that could also be the issue.

If you open the .pls files in a text editor, you should be able to see the problem and correct it with a search and replace.

Yes, that was it. I had various playlist formats and unified them, now
it 's smooth

Hi,
again, I have a problem with my playlists.
This night, I upgraded my mpd to 0.16.
Since then, I can't load playlists in Minion. I can play music files
directly (starting music files from the center window), but previously
saved playlists don't even appear at the right window.
When I load playlists with mpc directly at the server, they appear at
the right window and I can play them as usual. I can build new playlists
and play them via mpc, but not through Minion.
Where to look at?

Oddly enough, the 'append' function works as advertised!

in the edit menu, delete the white space:
clear;load{Title}

instead of

clear; load{Title}
