Help. I don't know that a server is.

I am completely new to this program and i would like to know all about
it, I was able to download it without a hitch, then a box comes up and
asks for servers, it asks for a description, host, port and password.
I am not good with linux or firefox so i am completely lost. I hope
someone can help me.

Minion is in effect just a remote control for an MPD (Music Player Daemon, see http://www.musicpd.org/) server.  See http://mpd.wikia.com/wiki/Install for notes on installing on various Linux distributions; without the server, Minion isn't a very useful tool in the same way a remote isn't very useful if you don't have the device it controls.
