should be the cause of love and harmony
as it is in music where many different notes
blend together in the making of a perfect chord.

Sydney Conservatorium of Music is establishing an Eligibility List of discipline experts to join our casual teaching pool. Our student body fluctuates from year to year and we seek to establish a flexible pool of superb musicians capable of working with the next generation of early career professional musicians.

We are looking for musicians with a history of professional experience at the highest level, and demonstrated experience at tertiary teaching level, including teaching with a potentially diverse cohort of students. They will have appropriate qualifications in music, and will have the ability to work in a complex and challenging environment.

The Cleftomaniacs are seeking a new choir director.

We are an a cappella choir who sing an eclectic repertoire ranging from Bach to Beatles, jazz, pop, blues, gospel and world music. The “Cleffies” formed in 1992 and rehearse in a quaint sandstone church in Waterloo on Thursday nights. (Changing the evening we rehearse to Monday nights is open for discussion.) Our group hits the notes, harmonises well and enjoys making music together. We have a great community spirit and are welcoming to new members.

We are excited and energised by the prospect of new material and new directions. The Cleffies are looking for an enthusiastic and encouraging leader who shares our love of music and who will help us to reach our potential whilst having fun along the way.

Please direct your inquiries to Jo Wright on 0408 668 084 or Kerrie Eyers on 0414 712947.
