MwB in Australia

This September, Musicians without Borders Director, Laura Hassler, will return to Australia for a two-week speaking tour. Laura will be keynote speaker and presenter at a two-day conference at the University of Melbourne on “Peace, Empathy and Conciliation through Music.” In Sydney and Brisbane, music conservatoria, universities and the ASME (Australian Society for Music Education) will also host lectures on the work of Musicians without Borders in war-torn regions and with refugees in Europe.

Hi all,

Bateau Bay Home of Music is a small home-based music studio located on the Central Coast of NSW. We are a friendly husband and wife team and we teach piano, guitar, ukulele and percussion. We are looking to engage a piano teacher for a few hours each week on a Tuesday afternoon during school terms. Students are varied in age and level. The role would suit a University student studying music or someone who is familiar with the AMEB exam system. The position pays $35 per hour to start in Term 2, 2018. If you are interested or know someone who may be interested, please email or call Adrienne on the details below.

Best Regards,
