Sri Madhu Kashyap - A Brief Bio
Hailing from a musical background, the quest for music for Madhu began
with Mridangam at an early age under the tutelage of his father Vidwan
Karnataka Kalashree N.G.Ravi, a renowned mridangam artist. Madhu’s
interest in music diversified towards Carnatic Classical Vocal and has
been trained under the tutelage of his mother Dr.Meenakshi Ravi, a
veteran teacher and performer, and Sangeetha Kalaratna Vidushi Neela
Ramgopal, a renowned name in the field.
Driven by his passion for pursuing music, Madhu recently bid adieu to
his professional career of over four years as an IT professional at
Infosys Technologies and iGate Global Solutions, Chennai. Madhu is now
on his own and a full time musician, and performer. He has been a
performing artist for over a decade and has performed in well-known
sabhas in places like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh. Madhu’s
uniqueness lies in the creative rendition of ragas, swara and absolute
devotion.
He has been the recipient of several awards like the:
(a) ‘Pratibhakankshi’ Award by Rama Seva Mandali, Bangalore,
(b) ‘Ananya Nadajyothi Pratibha Puraskara’ by Malleswaram Sangeetha
Sabha, Bangalore,
(c) ‘The Best Concert Artist’ by Bangalore Gayana Samaja for the best
concert of the year and scholarships from the Karnataka State and
Govt. of India for Classical Vocal. and
(d) He was also the runner-up in the recently concluded music reality
show ‘Voice Of Bangalore 2011’ which brought his singing a lot of
accolades.
Madhu has couple of albums released, to his credit.

Smt Krithi Kashyap - A Brief Profile.
Hailing from a musical background, Krithi embarked on her musical
journey through Carnatic Classical Vocal & Bharatanatyam at an early
age of five. As years passed by, her interest narrowed down on
Carnatic Classical music. She learnt Classical Vocal under the
tutelage of her mother Vidushi Shubha Ramaswamy (Smt Shubha now
resides in Dubai), a veteran performer and also from Sangeetha
Kalarathna Vidushi Neela Ramgopal, a well known name in the field of
Carnatic Music.
Driven by her passion for pursuing music, Krithi recently switched
from her professional career as a software engineer at IGate Global
Solutions, Chennai, to being a full-time musician and performer. She
has been a performing artist for over a decade and has performed in
well-known sabhas in places like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra.
Krithi’s uniqueness lies in melody, voice modulation and devotion in
her rendition.
A ‘B’ Grade artist in the All India Radio, she has been performing
regularly for over two years on AIR. She is also the recipient of
several awards like the
Pratibhakankshi Award by Rama Seva Mandali, Bangalore on the occasion
of Ramanavami festival, 2005
Conferred the ‘Bala Bhaskara’ Award by VDS Arts Academy, Chennai, for
having stood first in the ‘TOP TEN’ contest for the year 2006.
Pratibha Puraskara Award from Sangeeta Nritya Academy, Govt. Of Karnataka, 2008
Ananya Pratibha Puraskara’ by Malleswaram Sangeetha Sabha, Bangalore
for the best concert of the year ,
And scholarships like ‘Bharat Kalachar Scholarship’ for Classical
Vocal. Krithi has a couple of albums released, to her credit.
