In the past, I spent MLK weekend providing services for the "Poetry Extravaganza, annual free arts-oriented tribute honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. presented by the Washington, DC based poetry ensemble, Collective Voices, in partnership with the MLK, Jr. Memorial Library and the Coalition for African-Americans in the Performing Arts (CAAPA)."
From 2016 - present, I have spent MLK Weekend praying for prejudice, discrimination, racism and mass shootings to stop!
