8-25 Music City for Change update

Hi All,

No postings in awhile, but that isn’t because any of us are idle—
some of us have been working our tails off to put together the 9/27
Mercy Lounge show as well as Obamarama, our series of music shows in
early October. Stay tuned, the line-up looks great.
Some of our members have been helping the Obama cause via
Nashville Loves Barack Obama events, I hope you all have joined that

Also, in case you haven’t heard, the Victory 08 office has opened:

(across from the Farmer's Market)

Office Hours:
Sunday 1pm-5pm
M-F 9am-9pm
Saturday 10am-6pm

You can drop by there to help out, get yard signs and find out
what’s going on. NO, I don’t know the phone number, sorry. You can bet
that this headquarters opened because Jennifer Buck Wallace has been
working tirelessly to make it happen—Jennifer is a member and advisor
for this group as well. I don’t think she ever sleeps. So drop by the
new office to say hi and see the new digs.

Also, in case you haven’t joined Nashville Loves Barack Obama, you
may not have heard about the big party at the Victory '08 Office this
coming Thursday to watch Barack’s speech at the convention.

This Saturday 8/30 I’ll be registering voters at a Douglas Corner
show, come on down and see these great artists, all Obama supporters:
8/30 Dana Cooper, Don Henry, Jonell Mosser, Douglas Corner, 9pm

So there is a lot going on and loads of ways to help. Please tell
everyone you know to join this group-- things are moving fast and the
more members we have, the more successful our events will be. As you
might have noticed, joining this group does NOT mean that you get a
zillion emails a week from us. Just the important ones. Hope to see
you Thursday and Saturday!

re: 9/27: What are showtimes? Gary Nicholson (aka Whitey Johnson) is
willing if hour is later. Hal Ketchum is not available that
Saturday , waiting for reply from Delbert McClinton.
