Potato Sauerkraut Soup

4 cups chicken broth
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, rinsed & drained
8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 to 3 medium potatoes, cubed
2 medium carrots, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
3/4 pound smoked sausage (Polish, smoked, or turkey, etc.)
1/2 cup chopped chicken
2 tablespoon vinegar
2 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 slices bacon, crisp, drained & crumbled

In a 3 1/2 to 5-quart Crock Pot, stir together all ingredients except
bacon. Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours or until veggies are
tender. If necessary, skim off fat before serving. Sprinkle each
serving with bacon, if desired.

Makes about 6 servings.
