See a recent posting that will help address the issue of lack of time,
tools, and resources for obtaining professional development shown in
the Training section of the "Solutions!" page.

Several new additions to this document have been made by Paul
Thistle. They are centred on the need for collective action. Today's
additions have been set off by square brackets [ . . . ] as they are
editorial comments, but they are supported by references to the
literature.

Dear Members of the Museum Worker Task Saturation Group:

This Google Group is not defunct [yet], however, Google has severely
cut back on the functionality of the system.

In this light, I am looking for suggestions from Members about what
other system would permit the functionality to work on a shared
document & share comments, etc. with a view toward creating a problem
solving wiki.

Please let me know if you have suggestions regarding an alternate
venue for this group.

I had been delyaing updating the site until I could announce some new
input, but the publication of a new article has not happened for more
than a year now.

Any discussion about these and/or other matters will be most welcome.

Here's hoping that Members have been able to implement some of the
useful strategies proposed and feel less overwhelmed these days. Hope
springs eternal!

Respectfully yours

Paul C. Thistle
