Hi IMA Dashboard,

Can you provide any more guidance on modifying/removing the text that
appears in the footer of the page (Mission Statement, Privacy Policy,
etc.)?

Also, I wasn't sure which module(?) was controlling the About,
Departments and Topic tabs (panels??) at the top.

Thanks,

Richard Urban

You can just edit "themes/dashboard_theme/footer.tpl.php". We kindly
ask that you leave the IMA copyright link in the footer.

The Tab content is simply driven by categories. You can find the code
that displays them in "themes/dashboard_theme/template.php" and
"themes/dashboard_theme/header.tpl.php".

Thanks Charlie,

I am more than happy to give credit where credit is due, but am
concerned that including the "Copyright 2009 IMA" statement would lead
people to believe that the *content* of my site is subject to a
copyright claim by the IMA, rather than the museum dashboard modules,
code, etc.. Would it be acceptable to modify the "Copyright IMA"
statement to something more along the lines of:

Built Using the <a href="http://code.google.com/p/museum-
dashboard/">Museum Dashboard 1.0</a> (c) 2009 <a href="http://www.imamuseum
">Indianapolis Museum of Art</a>
Released under a <a href="http://www.opensource.org/licenses/bsd-license.php
">New BSD License</a>

Right now this is just a proof of concept, but I can foresee
retaining the current IMA copyright statement causing concern if this
moved forward.

Richard,

We have no problem with this wording. It seems more exact anyway, and
is really in the spirit that the original text was intended. Feel free
to make this change yourself for the time being, and we'll include the
change in a future release, and in SVN earlier.

Hi all,

Is there an easy way to put dashboard content into a particular order
in the grid? I've tried adjusting the "weight" property, but this
doesn't seem to affect where things go.

Thanks,

That depends on the type of page.  Are you wanting this on a series page or a topic?

I think these are the series that appear on the dashboard homepage.

Looks like the front page is driven by a view called, "dashboard_frontpage".  The sort specified is creation date.  Try editing the "Sort Criteria" on the view to be "Weight" instead.

Let us know when you get some data in there.  We enjoy seeing another dashboard in the wild.
