Hello,

I've been using the MMS2Flickr component and it works really well
(thanks!). I'm wondering if it would be possible and easy to add a
way to put a dynamic tag on the the pic. So for example, one of the
tags could be the number that sent the picture.

Hi Maria,

I am glad to see that you are using it. MMS2Flickr was a component
written in about 4 hours to solve a specific problem that we had when
Parade of Lost Souls was on. Adding dynamic tags would not be an easy
thing without rewriting a majority of the component. It is not because
the information isn't there; it is because of the interface that would
need to be designed to figure out all the variations of dynamic
requests. I might be able to do something for you by way of the
QueryString in the callback. For example appending FlickerTag= to the
end of the callback to URL that would call MMS2Flickr.

Cheers,

Stephen Makonin.

Hi Maria,

Further to Stephen's comments, the MMS2Flickr component was written quickly to workaround MMS not yet being implemented in the SIFT tool. Now that the SIFT tool is complete, I think you'll find it meets your needs.

Cheers, Clay
