I have created a small sample component that should give everyone the
idea about how to create components for the MUSE platform.

This component is a set of services that does the following:

1. It adds a context menu to Internet Explorer. When your cursor is
hovered over an image on a web site, right clicking will bring up the
context menu. The new menu item reads 'Send to Mobile Phone...'
2. When this context is selected, it presents a popup window that
allows you to specify a phone number to which you would like this
image directed. You must enter a username/password pair (in other
words you have to be a registered user of the platform). You must
also of course specify a phone number (only North American #s will
work). And finally you must indicate whether you want the content
sent as an MMS, or as an HTTP download.

In order to access this component, it is necessary for you to
configure the component (which is the other part of the exercise).

You can configure the component by logging into the platform, and
clicking on the button labelled 'Web to Mobile Content Extractor'.

Once in the component, you have to configure what service point you
want to use to allow the SMS (or MMS) to be sent out.

The Service Point list presented will present possible candidates -
all of which would be perfectly fine choices.

In order to implement this component, I had to follow the
specification as published last week to the wiki.

Given that we currently don't have a website that allows users to
subscribe/unsubscribe to components, I have manually subscribed all
people in this group to have access to the component.

You are encourage to give it a try.

I will also be posting the source code on the wiki (if I can ever
figure out how to do that)
