Hi MUSE team,

I am currently going through the tutorials in the MUSE docs (https://muse os.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.html) and have come across a couple of problems:

Tutorial 5: Adding a service demand (topic 8.5)
I have followed the instructions in the tutorial to add the relevant information in the input and technodata files however the output I am getting in the anaconda prompt is 'ValueError: technology must not be empty' as shown below:

I was wondering what this error was in reference to and whether I need to change any parameters in the input/technodata files in order to fix this?

Tutorial 7: Production constraints by timeslice (topic 8.7)
After running the 1-min-constraint scenario from the tutorial 7 folder, I found that in the Consumption_timeslice folder in Power, the output files do not have a 'technology' column (as shown below) therefore the data cannot be visualised in the same way as what is present in the docs with separate lineplots for each technology (i.e. the hue cannot be defined in lineplot())

Could this be due to an issue with the output.py file?

For your reference, I am working on Windows and used the virtual environment based installation.

Thank you in advance.

Best,
Sharwari

Hi Sharwari
this issue has been raised in the past .
We are getting soon a new release with the tutorial solved.
In the meantime, please be patient.
Best regards
MUSE team
