Dear all,

I have a problem if I add a second source of supply in my model. I am trying to insert a endogenous hydrogen supply that is linked to the electricity produced in the power sector. So the commodity hydrogen has in input electricity that is produced inside the model in the power sector that should provides electricity both for the production of hydrogen and for final use in the consumption sectors.

Unfortunately when I run the model I obtain the error:
MUSE error Subsector with <TechName> has no output commodities

I tried to settings different priority for the sectors in the toml but the results is always this message.

Do you have any suggestions about it or some example to share?

Have a nice evening

Sonja

Dear all,

I discover that this error comes when you try to model a future supply of a certain commodity, setting an existing capacity equal to zero at the starting year, even if the demand of that commodity is correctly set equal to zero.

Setting an existing capacity and a demand this works but it is not the situation I tried to model in which the demand is a future demand and consequently the supply is future too.

I am not sure how to manage it.

Best regards,

Sonja

Dear Sonja
thanks for your updates.
As popped up in other threads,
currently we cannot have a full sector with a total capacity equal to zero. A way out is to set a seed value of capacity.
