Doubts about the demand of material set in the "preset"

Dear all, dear Sara,

I have a doubt about the preset. In my model I set the demand of the material for 2020, 2050 and 2070. Actually 2050 and 2070 the demand is the same. 

I would like to ask you a very trivial question about this: from 2020 to 2050 does the model interpolate the demand linearly? Moreover, is it possible to set different way of interpolating or the only way is to set the demand every year 2020 2025 2030 .. and then it interpolates linearly?

Dear Sonja

by default the interpolation is linear if you set your demand at specific years, then the milestone year values are interpolated linearly.

If you need to apply different approaches for year intervals, you can define the demand exogenously for each milestone year.
