I've tried installing MUSE via the line pipx install MUSE-OS but  it gives me the error message below:

Fatal error from pip prevented installation. Full pip output in file:

    /Users/chiaramauri/.local/pipx/logs/cmd_2023-06-19_17.05.47_pip_errors.log

Some possibly relevant errors from pip install:

    ERROR: Ignored the following versions that require a different python version: 1.0.2 Requires-Python <3.10,>=3.8

    ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement muse-os (from versions: none)

    ERROR: No matching distribution found for muse-os

Error installing muse-os.

I tried changing the python version of the environment I work in manually from anaconda, but that didn't work.
How can I ensure it installs it with the correct version of python? Is there a specific addition to the line "pipx install MUSE-OS" that will quite simply solve this issue?

Thanks for your help!

Dear Chiara

I think pipx is pointing to a wrong directory. Worth unistalling and reinstalling, as shown here;
eventually setting up the path for searching packages.
Answering your questions, typing "conda list" on your command line, you can check which python version you have installed.

When you re-install, please make sure you have followed these steps to configure pipx, selecting the operating system you are using.

I hope this helps.
