The use of a case management product that also has McCesson (sp) for utilization review as well as the unique assessment done by this speciallity nursing service is not meet in pdoc or meditech products. If we could use something like allscripts the benefits would be ground breaking

Yes, this is a very smooth process. Helpful to nursing, case management and a multidisciplinary team approach. If Meditech can do the same it would be a happy day.

When you use two different program, e.g. Allscripts and Meditech for CM's to complete their documentation - this is labor intensive and doesn't help this group since Meditech doesn't have utilization review. Duplicity is never good, and CM program has to include this other program so they have to use Allscript.
