Good Morning All:

With 5.66 implementation in 2 weeks and CPOE implementation in about 6 weeks we are looking at tightening our change control procedures and policies.  Currently only 3 IS staff have access to grant change control to MEDITECH Tasks so that is not the problem.  We are looking for policies and documentation that other sites require for dictionary change control.  Often times departments do not understand the downstream effect that changing one thing causes.  Hence we are tightening the belt.  Any policies, documents, or thoughts on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much in advance.

Happy Holidays!
