Again, this event is mandatory! Details in the previous email I sent out. Please email us if you have any questions or cannot make it.
2) Help MUSE Consulting's WSII Team
Want to win a $20 gift card to Starbucks? MUSE Consulting is conducting a university-wide survey on Social Impact at Penn. Take a few minutes to complete this survey and you will be entered into a raffle for 1 of 3 gift cards!
3) Freshman/Sophomore Opportunity to Join FBIC
The Fellowship for Building Intercultural Communities (FBIC) is a program of the Greenfield Intercultural Center targeting freshmen and sophomores interested in intercultural dialogue and civic engagement. Intercultural can mean many different things and we are inviting all of you to apply. If you are interested in service-learning and leadership, this is the PERFECT opportunity for you.
FBIC has four goals:
1) Developing a network of future intercultural leaders
2) Engaging Penn students with the West Philadelphia Community
3) Familiarity with intercultural issues and resources at Penn
4) Ability to use dialogue as a tool to bridge communities.
The responsibilities for fellows include:
-
Meetings every two weeks
- Full day, beginning of the semester retreat
- Half day, mid-semester retreat
-
End of semester, capstone project
Students do not need to have previous intercultural experience, but rather show potential for being engaged and involved in developing new intercultural communities.
