1) VP Application / Election Information
Anyone is eligible to apply for the VP role, there are no restrictions. All applicants (including board) must fill out
this application by
next Wed, Dec 5th at 12 noon.
By Thursday December 6th, all candidates will be notified if they are invited to present a 3 minute presentation to the board on Sunday December 9th followed by 2 minutes of Q&A. Location and time TBD depending on the number of applicants. New VPs will be notified by December 10th of their status.
For reference, Board turnover happens every December for the new club year Jan-Dec 2013). To clarify the Presidential voting process, the general President of MUSE (the position currently held by Jason Rudin) is elected internally within MUSE Board, because only current leadership (current Board members) can run for the position.
The following information only relevant for current board members interested in running for any VP role: While it is optional for current board members to fill out the questions of the application, the responses to the questions will be shared with the board to further inform their decision. Current board members are guaranteed to progress to the next (and final) round.
