RAJAB THE MONTH OF ALLAH
Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim al-Haqqani
Rajab is the month of Allah. We are waiting for its manifestation, tajalli.
We will see with what kind of tajalli the power will come. The power will come for sure. It won't let them get away. Allah Almighty will not let them gat away with their ill-mannered doings. The power is coming!
O Beloved, pride and honor of the whole creation Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ.
Salawat Allahuma salli `alaa Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
May these troubles go away from us. Amin, amin, amin.
Allah Allah. Allah Allah.
I am looking at this, this is Baytullah, the House of Allah. It's tajalli is different.
O Nation of Muhammad ﷺ good tidings for the arriving of the month of Rajab al-Murajjab. Shahrullah al-Mu`azzam arrives tonight. It is coming with majesty. It is coming with majesty. Because of that majesty, who is against the Muslims won't be able to hold guns in their hands. All of them will be destroyed. All will run away. All will perish, not knowing where they will find refuge. It is Sham al-sharif. A person who doesn't keep respect for Sham al-sharif can't be there. It's Sultan will come, Sham al-Sharif.
Rajabun shahrullah, the month of Allah the exalted.

اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي رَجَبٍ، وَشَعْبَانَ، وَبَلِّغْنَا رَمَضَانَ
Anas b. Malik (ر) said that the Prophet ﷺ would say at the beginning of Rajab, "O God, bless us in Rajab, and Shaban and let us reach Ramadan."
[at-Tabarani, al-Bayhaqi, Abu Nu`aym]
رجب شهر الله ، وشعبان شهري، ورمضان شهر أمتي.
Rajab is the month of Allah, Sha`bān is my month and Ramadān is the month of my Nation.
[Abul-Fath ibn Abi Fawaris in his Amalee]
The work of prophets and angels stops in the month of Rajab. They are not allowed to know what rewards God is going to give His community. It is in the hands of the Lord, Almighty God. In the following month, Sha`ban, no one is permitted to know what rewards the Prophet ﷺ will give his Community except the Prophet ﷺ and Allah. What is accumulated of the rewards in Rajab and Shaban will be written for you and become known to everyone in Ramadan. That is why it is the month of the Community. These three months are therefore very important months in the understanding of the Sufi orders.
In the month of Rajab, the Prophet ﷺ went through the Night Journey and Ascension. During this month one must keep oneself away from all kinds of bad manners and behavior. One of the most important days of the year is the first day of the ‘month of God.’ All seclusions commence at the beginning of the month of Rajab.

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani
Seclusion is not an innovation but is an order of Allah, Almighty and Exalted, in his Holy Book and in the example of the Prophet . The Prophet used to make seclusion in the cave of Hira in the mountains of Makkah, remembering Allah, Almighty and Exalted. It is indicated in the Qur’an, in Surat al-Muzzamil, (73, 8): “So remember the name of thy Lord, and devote thyself to Him with full devotion.”
Allama Abu Sa`ad in his Commentary on the Explanation of the Qur’an by Fakhr ad-Din ar-Razi, volume 8, p. 338, says:
“The meaning of this verse is to keep secluding yourself from anyone other than Allah, Almighty and Exalted, remembering Him day and night, by tasbih, tahmid and tahlil, and to disconnect yourself, by all the power you have, and approach Him through the meditative stations such that you will not see anyone except Him, and be away from connections to other than Him through that meditation.”
Meditation here rests on seclusion. The proof for this in the Qur’an can be found in the story of Maryam , the mother of Jesus (ع):
“So her Lord accepted her with a gracious acceptance, and caused her to grow an excellent growth, and made Zakariyya her guardian. Whenever Zakariya visited her in her seclusion he found with her provision. He said, ‘O Maryam, whence hast thou this?’ She replied, ‘It is from Allah. Surely, Allah gives to whomsoever He pleases without measure.’” (Surat Ali `Imran, 3:37)
Allah said in the Qur’an mentioning the story of the companions of the cave, they were ordered:
“Betake yourself to the Cave: your Lord will shower His mercies on you and dispose of your affair towards comfort and ease.” (Surat al-Kahf, 18:16)

Tonight is a very precious night, Laylat ar-Ragha'ib, 'the Sacred Night of Desires.' In Islamic countries they celebrate this night with praising of the Prophet (صل الله عليه و سلّم), remembrance of his life, remembrance of God in their hearts, and visits to mosques, which stay open throughout the night until dawn.
How are you going to be supported by your Lord? How can Islam be understood in this country if even Muslims do not know when this precious night falls?
This is a night you have to spend reading the Quran, reciting God’s Names, reciting stories of the Prophet’s (s) life, sending him salutations and worshipping your Lord. No one knows. Look in all the mosques. No one even speaks about this night. No one even mentions that this is the month of Rajab and that one is recommended to fast on Mondays and Thursdays. Who is fasting? Very few people remember to fast. Among the majority of Muslims no one even thinks of this important night, yet they want to spread Islam everywhere. How is this going to happen if we Muslims do not begin with ourselves before looking at others?
We ask our Lord to change the hearts of Muslims who ignore the fast of Rajab and cause them to give this month the value it deserves.

Excerpted from Angels Unveiled
Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani
A voice came from an angel called Ishmael, saying: “O heavenly stairs, show yourselves and descend!” upon which the ladder of heaven descended all the way from Firdaws, the loftiest Paradise, until it reached the Temple of Solomon. The arms of the ladder shone with two heavenly lights, red amethyst and green jasper of the greatest perfection. Every believer is going to see that ladder and climb on it. It has one hundred steps and it goes from the Temple to the First Heaven.
Gabriel called the Prophet and the Buraq climbed the first step. There the Prophet saw all kinds of angels red in color. On the second step, the Prophet saw angels in yellow cloth, on the third step the angels were green and all of them were greeting him and giving him heavenly gifts which he took and gave to Gabriel to keep as a trust for the believers on earth. On the fourth step messenger-angels came and said: “O Gabriel, keep rising for the Lord is waiting!” And the Prophet saw their subtle bodies shining and their faces glittering like mirrors in the sun.
Then he climbed the fifth step of the ladder and saw a huge world of angels that had no beginning and no end. All of them were praising God and their only words were: “There is no god but God.” He asked Gabriel: “How many are these angels?” for he was awed by their numbers. Gabriel said: “If the skies and the earth and the moon and the sun and the stars and galaxies were crushed in to dust and were all piled up, their dust particles would not be one tenth of the angels of this step of the ladder of Paradise.”

The Saint of Rajab
Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani
In the time of the Prophet ﷺ there lived a notorious highway robber. He used to frequent the streets after midnight. If he found someone walking alone at night in the street, he caught him, robbed him, sometimes beat him or killed him, and then returned home. No one was able to catch that highwayman. The Prophet ﷺ used to curse that highwayman in his time, saying, ‘That is an evil person. I will never pray for him and I will not bury him in the graveyard of the Muslims.’
After many years, the highwayman passed away. Because the Prophet ﷺ used to curse him, the children dragged his body through the streets of Madinah and threw him into a dry well. As soon as they had thrown him into the well, God spoke to the Prophet and said, ‘O my beloved Prophet, today one of my saints has passed away. You must go and wash him, clean him, cover him, pray for him and bury him.’ The Prophet ﷺ was astonished because all his life he had cursed that person. Now that he had passed away, God told him that he was a saint. How could he be a saint?
But no one can interfere with God’s knowledge, not even the Prophet ﷺ. If God wants to make a thief a saint, no one can ask, ‘Why?’ We must accept. That is why according to Sufi teachings and the teachings of the Naqshbandi Order, you have to look at everyone as being better than you. You do not know if God is going to raise that person’s level higher than your level who knows? No one can know. Therefore no one can interfere. Do not look down at people as if you were superior to them. You do not know whether that person, in God’s eyes, is a saint or not.

“O Lord! Since this month is your month – Rajabun Shahrullah – I came to you as a weak guest and intending to worship You, without asking anything in return. My aim, my goal s You and that is why I am coming, please don’t reject me.”
“O Lord! All my life I spent in wrongdoing and I am declaring 100% that I did not do any deed that is acceptable to You. You are Allah Who never threw away anyone that came to Your door.

Hadith History and PrinciplesSeries: Sunna Notes VolumeSTUDIES IN HADITH & DOCTRINEAuthor: Shaykh Gibril Fouad Haddad
It pleased our bountiful Creator to make knowledge of Hadith and its ancillary sciences the exclusive characteristic of Muslim civilization. Alone among the nations that walked the face of the earth, this Umma received and kept this Divine trust together with the Last Testament the Qur’an to pass it on to posterity unchanged.
Hadith methodology and criticism ensured that nothing alien crept into the pure Prophetic Sunna as conveyed by upright and precise transmitters under the strict perusal of their peers and subsequent experts. The Prophetic Sunna and authentic Hadith are part and parcel of the Final Revelation – which no Muslim denies! – and the Lawgiver preserves His Dhikr through the surest human means imaginable.
