Grandshaykh Abd Allah's Ramadan Du`a
Shaykh Hisham Kabbani said: "One time Grandshaykh AbdAllah ق said to me, 'You are Ka’b al-Ahbar for me,' because I was writing everything Mawlana says."
This series comes from handwritten transcripts of the invocations that Grandshaykh Abd Allah al-Fa'iz ad-Daghestani used to recite, one for each day in Ramadan.
Recitation and translation: Dr. Gibril Haddad
Reciteإذا كان رمضان فتحت أبواب الرحمة وغلقت أبواب جهنم وسلسلت الشياطينAbu Huraira ر reported Allah's Prophet ﷺ as saying: "When there comes the month of Ramadan, the Gates of Mercy are opened, and the gates of hell are locked and the devils are chained."1: LOVE AND KINDNESSO Muslims! To love Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the seed to improve our manners. Our Prophet was always humble and kind, always open-minded, always received his Sahabah and spoke with them both formally and informally, sometimes joking. Don’t believe Prophet ﷺ doesn’t joke: he has a sense of humor and makes everyone happy with him. Showing love and kindness to Allah's Creation and abandoning rudeness wins His Favors. .”2: TASBIHAllah ﷻ loves us and wants us to be successful, so He ordered us:بسم الله الرحمن الرحيمأَطِيعُواْ اللّهَ وَأَطِيعُواْ الرَّسُولَ وَأُوْلِي الأَمْرِ مِنكُمْBismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Ati`oollaaha wa ati`oo 'r-Rasoola wa ooli 'l-amri minkum. In the Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Most Beneficent. Obey Allah, obey the Prophet, and obey those in authority among you. (Holy Quran, 4:59)Grandshaykh AbdAllah ق began every suhbah with this verse and taught us to read it 100 times daily, because Allah dresses us with all its secrets and heavenly powers, and it is written that we fulfilled His 500 orders and avoided the 800 forbiddens!3: OBEDIENCEThe Holy Quran is the Muslim constitution, so Allah ﷻ will reward you with all the secrets of "ati`oollah” (obey Allah) and “ati`oo 'r-rasool” (obey the Messenger). So any Hadith, strong or not, from whatever scholars memorized - and Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal alone memorized 300,000 ahadith - become as if you read and accepted them all! Even if your nafs doesn't like Hadiths, by reading this ayah it is as if you obeyed them and you will be rewarded, as Allah ﷻ said:وَمَا آتَاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانتَهُوLeave what Prophet forbade and take what he ordered. (Surat al-Hashr, 59:7)4: LET IT GO!"Don't grieve. Anything you lose comes around in a different form." ~ RumiGrandshaykh AbdAllah ق didn't allow us to speak of any fitna that happened just two hours ago! It means don't hold on to negative emotions and energy, believe in Allah's plan for you, that He will resolve your affairs and Prophet Muhammad ﷺ will pray for you. So let go of anger, jealousy, heartbreak, grief, grudges, guilt, doubt, because all that negativity is a trap that prevents you from receiving heavenly baraka. Free your heart, turn to Allah ﷻ!

RAMADAN IFTAR
مَنْ فَطَّرَ صَائِمًا كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِمْ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَنْقُصَ مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْئًا " .
The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said:
“Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest.”
