Announcement: Heaven Kickstarter Campaign!

Hi there!

Yeah. It's been a while. Like over a year. Like some of you are probably wondering if I put you on this list because you don't remember signing up for it (trust me, I put no one on my list, it's all you guys.)

I wanted to reach out to everyone who's reached out to me in the past five years, and this is one of the ways. Don't worry, this is not the start of a deluge of Mur-centered emails. But I needed to announce my latest project-

Heaven, the award-winning five novella series that I began podcasting in 2006, is coming to ebook and limited edition signed hardcovers.

The books have been in a weird state of flux for years. I have never put it up for ebook or self-publishing because I believed it could, as my most popular work, easily get picked up by a publisher.

I was wrong.

So after a couple (ok, lots) of attempts to woo editors, I trunked it. But recently decided what the heck, I have nothing to lose by putting it up as an ebook, except for the money it will take for a proper conversion. And then I realized through Kickstarter, I could get some funding to help pay for the conversions (considering there are five novellas, it was going to get up there, even with the deal my designer was giving me.) And with Kickstarter I could use a limited hardcover run as incentives for people who donate.

Yesterday I launched the campaign. It was to run a month.

One hour and 25 min later, it was fully funded.

I'm utterly flabbergasted. But the good news is, the campaign is alive for the full month. And I'm using whatever means I have to announce to my fans that if you want hardcovers of the Heaven series, this is the only way to get the limited editions. And if you're an ebook lover, then the ebooks launch in around a month after we get it done (and the list of patrons in the front of the book!) Odds are quite good I'll be releasing paperback versions as well, so if you donate, this will help fund that possibility.

So in short- My Afterlife Series, Heaven, Hell, Earth, Wasteland, and War are coming to ebook this year. They are all going to be released via limited edition hardcovers, but the only way to get them will be through this campaign!  So if you want the hardcover series, you can go to Kickstarter and donate!
