Thank you very much for this notice for the next four hui a iwi for
Ngati Kuri.

Is there any plans for hui further afield in NZ?

I was told one was planned for Australia but not what state?

Will the 'organising committee' be able to take feedback via email/
website postings for those that can't make meetings personally?

When will the Agendas of the meetings and summaries be posred out?

Will advertisements appear in the NZ Herald & the local papers so we
can phone our family who are not computer literate?

Thanks again

http://www.maori.org.nz/papa_panui/events.asp?date=12/15/2007&month=12&year=2007AGENDA

1. Hear Ngati Kuri Wai Claimants
2. Consider reps to engage with Crown to progress a mandate for
negotiators for the settlement of Ngati Kuri's Treaty Claims
3. Crown Offer - redress for Te Aupouri
4. Agreement in Principle - Te Rarawa
5. Elect reps to engage with Crown to progress a mandate for
negotiations for the settlement of Ngati Kuri's Treaty Claims

1. This notice is in the webpage maori.org Events Calendar without a
venue or time.

2. Once you figure out where the meeting is... the Agenda above,
reasonable at first glance is flawed as the resolutions/outcomes of
the 4 meetings have never been emailed or posted out to anyone to
consider or make comment on.

3. If elections take place on the 15th they are open to only those
present or do they accept postal/emailed nominations(no reference here
of the protocol for the elections) that live in the north which
geographically excludes the greater Ngati Kuri. My suggestion to call
the hui later say January when people have time off to attend a three
day hui to discuss ALL Ngati Kuri business has not been considered, If
the greater Ngati Kuri are not kept up to date with the process how
can a body represent them, their thoughts. suggestions or concerns?

4. The number of Ngati that attended either: Te Hapua, Ngataki,
Paparore has not been established as a fair and equitable figure of
Ngati Kuri
