Hey guys,

Hope everyone had a good holiday and New Year's! I have to say, I'm
looking forward to 2010. I spent a lot of 2009 laying the groundwork
for several projects I hope to see come to fruition this year. My
comic Crash Course is by far the biggest and we're just at the very
end of the production cycle (I may have said the same in my last
newsletter, but a few things have slowed the process down a little but
now we're waiting on only a couple of things, and the book will
definitely be out in the next few months!) My artist and I have been
working on the book for a long time now, and I can't wait for it to
step out into the world.

I have another essay available on SexIs, called All in the Family
(http://www.edenfantasys.com/sexis/sex-and-society/westboro-
protest-122892/). It's about an afternoon we spent counter-protesting
the Westboro Baptist Church when they were in town a few months back.
I'm really proud of the piece, so I hope you all enjoy it.

I'm also pleased to announce the release of the second issue of
Blowjob, my self-published erotic fiction zine. Buying the zine is the
best way that you can support me and my work. I love putting the book
together and I handle everything from design to production myself, and
it's the best way to enjoy my stories (if I do say so myself.) You can
visit my website (http://www.johnnymurdoc.com) and use the PayPal
button in the right hand column to buy either or both of the first two
issues... if you buy them together, you save a buck! Issue two
contains the stories "Rough Love" (formerly "Boxer Boy) and "After the
Fight" as well as boxing tips, photos courtesy of the US Army (you
have to love the public domain!) and a handy (and accurate!)
infographic that shows the ratio of penis euphemisms used in the
stories, designed by my wonderful partner Evan.

I'll have more news soon for you guys. Thank you all for your support.
I wish you all the best in 2010.

Thanks,
Johnny
