Minutes/Decisions of the YFE(IP) Meet held on Tuesday , 18th July

To start off with , 35 people attended the General Body Meeting held on Tuesday, 18th July at IP University Campus , Kashmere Gate..Following are some of the key points discussed/decided at the meeting -
1)Coordinators from all the colleges present there have been instated.
2)Membership has started , the coordinators have been given membership forms for their respective colleges.The fee for the same is rs 20 per member.
3)As a major decision , it has been decided that there would be a Hunger Strike starting from 8:30 AM in the morning at Kashmere Gate Campus Lawns.The following is a message that u all can type on your cellphones and send to everybody.Not Just people from IP University , but Everybody...

The Sustainability Office at Southern Illinois University Carbondale is committed to empowering a culture of sustainability through collaborative campus-based solutions across academics, operations, research, and campus life.
Outside of work, Lemrise loves exploring, gardening, and anything that will get her outdoors when she can find time. Aimee also enjoys being creative with art and music, traveling and learning about different cultures, anything related to food, working with the youth, and loves to make memories with her family. Lemrise is a recent inductee of Rotary Club of Carbondale Breakfast. Her role as the director of Sustainability has opened her up too many environmental and social issues which has fed her drive to communicate the urgency to the public that we must make changes now to improve the future opportunities for the next generation. As she continues to sharpen her philanthropy in sustainability, she is currently working to connect with the external community and align similar goals to better our society.
The Nepali Academics in America (NACA) is a non-profit and non-partisan network established to enhance collaboration among academics and scholars affiliated with higher education and research institutions based in the United States of America and globally. As an independent professional network, its goal is to enhance the interests of academics and scholars focusing on Nepal for professional growth, collaboration, and high-impact academic, research, and service initiatives in the United States, Nepal, and beyond. NACA envisions building a thriving and vibrant Nepal through research, innovation, and knowledge production. The mission of NACA is to enhance collaboration among academics and scholars affiliated with higher education and research institutions based in the United States of America and globally. We strive to create a space for the members to collaborate, engage/educate, and network.
Nisha was on the steering committee of the EmPower: Women for Climate Resilient Societies Project, which is a five-year project funded by the SIDA and jointly implemented by UN Women and the UNEP. She is also the NGO representative for the Grow Asia Partners Advisory Council which is an independent advisory body comprising government agencies, non-profit entities, and non-government organizations representing the range of agriculture-based societal and environmental issues facing the region. Nisha is also the Regional Coordinator for WOCAN. Nisha has a PhD from Gender and Development studies from the Asian Institute of Technology.
Chandra Bhandari is a Senior Research Manager at Inclusion Economics Nepal at Governance Lab. He initially joined as the first Research Associate when the research commenced in 2017. After four years of dedicated work, he pursued a master's program in public policy at Yale University. He is interested in exploring how research and evidence can influence public policy.
Ashesh Shrestha is a Research Manager at Inclusion Economics Nepal (IEN) at Governance Lab. At IEN he is responsible in supporting the implementation of projects, including overseeing day-to-day field-based activities, in collaboration with relevant policy partners and IE teams based in different locations globally. He has over 5 years of research experience pertaining to economic policies in Nepal.
Dilasha is the Communications and Outreach Officer at Governance Lab. With expertise in strategic communication, she drives engagement, manages public relations, and cultivates connections with stakeholders. Dilasha plays a pivotal role in enhancing the organization's public image and amplifying its impact through effective outreach initiatives. She also provides relevant support to other entities of Daayitwa Abhiyaan.
Aarya is a Research Associate at Inclusion Economics Nepal (IEN) at Governance Lab. At IEN, she focuses on cleaning, producing, and analyzing research data, supporting field research, and maintaining partner relations to aid research projects and outputs.
Asim is a Research Associate at Inclusion Economics Nepal at Governance Lab. He loves numbers and economics. At IEN, he primarily works on cleaning, preparing, and analyzing research data. His interests lie in quantitative economics, political economy, and institutional economics.
Apurva is broadly interested in researching the economics of education, migration and labor markets in developing countries. Outside of work, you will probably find Apurva playing the piano, going on runs, cooking and teaching music.
