Tony,

Actually this should already work. I just ran a test (linux PC) with the
options "--resolution 1920x1200 --fullscreen", and it stretched the output
across the wide monitor. Rice video has some evil flashing going on in all
fullscreen modes with my AMD card but glide64mk2 worked nicely.

I just can't get it to work. I use the wxmupen64plus frontend on a Windows PC. When I set the dimensions to 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 and fullscreen with the external player, I get a centered 4:3 picture who's rendering goes beyond the field of view. When I disable fullscreen, then I just get a giant window that can't all fit on screen. When I use the internal player, everything is in the field of view, but it's a left-aligned 4:3 picture. I've tried editing the settings in wxmupen64plus, glide64mk2.ini and mupen64plus.cfg

Have you tried it with rice instead? In my experience glide64mk2 prefers letterboxing over stretching, and it's best to set it to a 4:3 resolution.

Hi,

then maybe it is related to my custom video extension after all, even though I initially didn't think so. What if you go in plugin options and choose external video, then restart?

Regardless of which video plugin I use or resolution, the internal player gives me a left-aligned 4:3 view and the external player gives me a letterboxed view in which the screen is cut off in all direction (in fullscreen). When I de-select fullscreen, then the external player has a giant letterboxed window that won't fit on screen. I restart the application every time I make a settings change.
