It has come to my attention that an app on the Apple App Store ("
Delta - Game Emulator", https://apps.apple.com/us/app/delta-game-emulator/id1048524688) is infringing on the GPLv2 open source license that mupen64plus-core is licensed with. Specifically, the app is source available instead of following the GPLv2 provisions correctly. Another issue is the source code on the repository (https://github.com/rileytestut/Delta) is usually heavily delayed compared to the App Store release which means the code is being distributed without conforming to the GPLv2's licensing provisions.
"— unless you plan to submit your app to Apple’s App Store, in which
case written permission from me is explicitly required. Dependencies
remain under their original licenses."
Although, the version of mupen64plus-core being used is commit "b4566a6562441489ae274dff6514ff046f6f0515" from around March 4th, 2019.
