Hello,

i think this problem has been already arisen by others, but i coudn't find a solution unfortunately.
In Zelda Ocarina of Time, water temple, it necessary to get a target with the hookshot in a short time, before a gate is closed. Unfortunately i can't get the target because of pointer sensitivity: a small click of the arrow key causes a huge movement of the pointer and it seems impossible to drive it into the target.
I tried to change dead-zones and peaks but nothing changed.
Moreover it seems not possible to use the mouse for the stick control: even setting "mouse: True" the mouse is not recognized and the system does not grab the pointer (useless to toggle  ctrl and alt).
I'm using Mupen64plus versione 2.5, on linux, Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS, with M64Py front-end (tried to edit the .cgf file both with M64Py and manually)

Thanks very much
Luca

Try the right control/shift keys to make fine movements with the arrow keys (assuming default mappings).

When using the keyboard, the analog stick is normally moved by its full range when you press an arrow key.
Sometimes you may need to make smaller moves. In this case, you can move the analog stick more gently by
holding down the Right Control key (for -50%) or Right Shift key (-25%), or both (-75%).

Dear Brandon

thank you very much. For some reasons also this doesn't work: holding right shift and/or ctrl has no effect. There should be something related with the key configuation (by the way, apparently there is no difference between left and right, for shift and ctrl keys)
However, i'm no more stuck: moving the pointer downward, until the floor, and again on the target, the grid slips slightly. It is not straightforward, but with a certain amount of attempts it is finally possible to get the target and go on with the game.

Thanks again,
Luca
