I thought I'd document the notable issues currently affecting the game. Last tested a month ago, but I doubt much has changed. The game is surprisingly quite playable, but with some gamebreaking issues that might hopefully be fixed in the near future.

Minor:
Terrain tearing\flickering and portal visibility problems. These are worse on 32 bit dynarec, but subtly present in 64 bit dynarec.
Audio feels wrong. Either object sounds come from the wrong direction, or there is a significant delay before the audio pans when turning the camera.

Major (Gamebreaking):
Freezes during level intros. These happen during intro cinematics, often involving slow camera zooms. Interpreter mode fixes.
Freezes at end of levels as "Indy's Trading Post" loads. These are more unpredictable. Disabling expansion pack is a semi-consistent fix, but sometimes interpreter mode is also needed.

Thoughts:
I recall there being some hack in mupen64plus that was added to prevent Infernal Machine freezing when the player takes control of Indy for the first time. I wonder whether that is somehow relevant to the odd end of level freezes.

Hi Ambiant Malice,

Thanks for the valuable feedbacks. A savestate for each of mentionned points + the ROM md5 would be appreciate.

As you know, work on unknown ucodes this game rely on is a long and slow process and we have no active dev on this for now.

But as soon as you provide savestates + ROM md5 and each bug is reproducible I could enter them into our dev bug tracker to don't loose them.
