Can't Start Mupen64Plus

Opening mupen64plus-ui-console.exe opens the console very briefly and then closes itself. Running as administrator doesn't solve the issue, nor does granting it full exceptions by my antivirus. Is there some other safeguard my computer might have on by default blocking the program from running?

Hi,

You need to run the console user-interface from the terminal window. Here's a
