could not install mupen64plus for retropie

Hi I installed a debian os on my windows tablet it is a 32 bit system. Then I installed retropie via its link https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Debian/ . I just ran a basic installation there but in the end it says mupen64plus was not successfully compiled. The message was " could not successfully build muplen64plus ". I wonder is it known that mupen64plus will not build for retropie installation in this way?

I think you will have to reach out to the RetroPie developers to alert them
about this problem. We are the core Mupen64Plus developers in this email list,
and don't support the RetroPie build system. If you can give more detailed
information about the nature of the build problem, we may be able to help you
though.
