This question isn't exactly something I couldn't find an answer to somewhere else, but I have no idea where to look.

I'm running Mupen64plus under Linux.

I use a laptop with a French (AZERTY) keyboard that I purchased in Tunisia. Thus the default key layout which works fine with a QWERTY setup isn't the best here. I have a few different keyboard layout options including French and English (International) which generally simulates a QWERTY setup. However switching to English doesn't really change anything inside the emulator since the controls are set to key codes, not letters.

I need to figure out AZERTY key codes I guess. I don't know where you find this. Any help?

Thanks

Ben

Hi Ben,

We have a wiki page on the google code site for keyboard setup:

http://code.google.com/p/mupen64plus/wiki/KeyboardSetup

There is a comment from Jan 5, 2011 in which someone has posted a short little program to dump out the SDL keycodes.  You can compile this and run it to get the keycodes for all of your keys.

If you don't know how to compile, just let me know which exact distribution of linux you have and I can make a build for you.
