  1. To Whom it May Concern: I understand that Mupen64 is beginning to implement cheats.

Will you please add to a List for Consideration, support for: Mappable-GS button. Allow users to key-bind the GS button to any key of their choice. This could be done in an out of the way fashion, so as not to waste the time-energy of the general userbase... but please let it be not so hidden that the GS Button continues to be neglected. In development, assigning a function to a GS button seems to be as simple as changing 1 digit.

If the GS button received recognition via software/hardware support, developers may begin to utilize it more. - Consider that the N64 has 3x-5x less buttons than a modern game pad. - Consider also that N64 games can be locked down to reading 1P controller only. Eg.) Ocarina of Time only reads P1 controller, which means developers can't easily bind functions to 2P/3P controller.

Hello Yennifer,

I believe that we already support the feature that you are requesting.

The [CoreEvents] section of the mupen64plus.cfg file contains the following two parameters:

Kbd Mapping Gameshark = 103
Joy Mapping Gameshark = ""

These can be used to assign a key or a joystick button to the Gameshark button.

Richard
