issues with python setup.py install

I just forked and git clone'd the latest muntjac. when I create a virtual environment and attempt to install muntjac there, these issues crop up:

warning: manifest_maker: standard file 'setup.py' not found
warning: install_lib: 'build/lib' does not exist -- no Python modules to install

Therefore when you attempt to run the installed muntjac script you get this error:
ImportError: No module named muntjac.main
