I've been able to get a new production MunkiServer setup on Mac OS X Server 10.7.5. I can connect to it at munki.mydomain.edu, log in, browse around, everything seems good.

I go and upload a new package (I'm using Fetch 5.7.3.dmg as my test package). I am told the package successfully uploaded, and I can see it in the packages folder in the munkiserver directory. Great so far. I get the "Editing a package screen," I edit the description, I click "Update," and I get the 404 error from the app. From then on, if I click "list packages," I get jumped straight to the 404 error message.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong that is breaking it like this... any ideas?

Hi Chris,

What do the logs in the ./log directory of the munkiserver application folder report (ex: production.log, or development.log, depending on the environment you're running your web app in)? Have you tried doing the same process with another package in a new instance? Same result?

Ok, I think I figured it out; it looks like it was pulling some information from the version field for the app that it wasn't able to work with. I stripped the version information back to strictly numeric information, and it finally worked. (I had tried another app, but my guess is that one as well had bad characters in the version as well.)
