MunkiReport 3.1.1.3364 to 5.7.1

I need some direction on updating MR to the latest. I do see the steps on upgrading to the latest version here: https://github.com/munkireport/munkireport-php/wiki/How-to-Upgrade-Versions 

Does that mean I can go directly to 5.7.1? 

We have php 7.2 and mysql 5.7 currently. 

Does 5.7.1 only work on specific versions of macOS?
