Hey Hannes,

Repeating what I said on twitter, but thanks for an awesome product, cuts down the difficult in comprehending a Munki setup greatly!

One small inquiry, it seems that Munki Admin doesn't support the importing of non-flat packages. Not a big problem as I can upload using munkiimport then mess around with after in Munki Admin, but I was wondering if support for this was planned at some point?

Not to worry if it isn't, just thought I'd ask 😊

Thanks again,

Darren

Thanks,

At the moment MunkiAdmin can only import files that makepkginfo understands. That means only flat packages and read-only dmg files are supported. The support for automatically wrapping unsupported items in dmg's (like munkiimport does) has been on my ToDo list but I can not make any promises when it might get implemented. Currently I'm planning on adding autopkg recipe support (in some form) and that might also provide a convenient way for MunkiAdmin to create disk images.

Thanks for the reply.

Not going to lie, AutoPKG support would be my preferred over the two!

to be honest, the product is great as it is, I'm happy to wait as long as it's need and deal with manually wrapping, or using the command line to import if needs be.

Thanks

Darren
