I have missing folders that are in my MUNKI repo but do not show up in MUNKIAdmin. Can someone help explain why ?

Are those missing folders in your manifests directory? Are you running the latest MunkiAdmin (1.2.2)? It has a bug fixed where the manifests view sidebar wouldn't show all folders.

I was at 1.2.0 but now i am at 1.2.2. The packages do not show in the center pane for Packages view or Catalogs view for Repository>All Packages. The missing packages are seen in the manifest view under the correct manifest. The Missing Folder in question is listed on the side bar under Directories/pkgsinfo, but is empty. The missing packages are nested packages created by PackageMaker.

Do you have pkginfo files for the installers in place? MunkiAdmin doesn't use the installers at all, it just reads the pkginfo files. The manifest contents are read and displayed whether the corresponding pkginfo exists or not.

It sounds like the pkginfo files are missing or corrupt. You could also check the logs ~/Library/Logs/MunkiAdmin/ for any errors.

When you say they are "in" your Munki repo, do you mean you used munkiimport to import them?

Or do you mean you copied the packages to /Users/Shared/munki_repo/pkgs?

Finally got time to get back to this.
This is a folder of munki_repo > pkginfo files that were created by munkiimport. Looked at the logs and seeing the following errors for each of the missing files.

PVclass-manifest: Error: Could not link managed_install object 65 --> Name: Ultrakey_PV
server-manifest: Error: Could not link managed_install object 47 --> Name: Adobe Reader XI

Looked the said manifests and pkginfo files and all looks good. Not having any issues with munki deploying these apps.
