Greetings Community,

We had our new hire class this morning, and seems to be having issues with our Managed Software Center and contacting the update server. Nothing on our end changed that I am aware of. Below are some errors in our Jamf Log we are getting that might be of helpful context.

We are running an older version of MSC, but even when updating my client this morning, still getting errors connecting to update server.

Jamf Error Logs:

Starting... Checking for available updates... ERROR: Could not retrieve managed install primary manifest: There was a connection error: -1005: The network connection was lost. ERROR: Error during updatecheck: There was a connection error: -1005: The network connection was lost. I network connection error in Munki is typically a network connection error without Munki.

Can you visit the Munki server website for the manifest directly in a web browser? What happens then? Or are you using some kind of middleware?

When I go to the host link, I get a 404 error, I think we have it narrowed doing to the AWS instance and going to try and restart the services.
