Hi,

I was wondering if anybody here has deployed Chrome extensions via munki? I was reading the instructions on this page, and it seems like it should be possible to do by creating a package, but I was unable to find the External Extensions folder that was mentioned in the guide. I thought it may have to do with Google requiring extensions to be installed from the web store, but it seems that is Windows only. Is there another way to go about this, if it is even possible?

You can force install extensions using a profile:
(I no longer do this, but I had a profile that did):

Specifically:

Keep in mind using a profile this way means users won't be able to change it, though.

You can force install extensions that you want, and add a extension install whitelist with * as the value. Or just leave off the extension install blacklist key.
