Hi Everyone,

Just starting out with Munki and can't find the answer to my issue so hoping someone here can help.

I've setup a server (OS X Server) and client (El Capitan) to begin my trial running the latest versions, I have imported a few different applications which install and remove without issue, however I am unable to perform a silent install.

The option Unattended Install within MunkiAdmin has been selected but it's still prompting the client machine to update, can someone explain why this is ?

The issue that I am running into is that I can do a silent install if I use this command: touch/users/shared/.com.googlecode.nmki.checkandinstallatstartup before I restart my computer. But if I do not do this command and restart my computer the silent install will not take place.

Thanks for your help,
Tony

Unattended installs would happen during the automatic background runs of Munki.

If you are launching Managed Software Center, you will see _all_ available updates, even if they are marked for unattended install.

unattended_install = True means Munki _can_ install these without notifying the user. It does not mean the user will never see these updates as available.
