Also, as lots of local elected officials use Facebook far more than
individual civil servants to interact online with the public, one of
my goals is to get those "wired" elected officials to connect more
deeply with open government. As you know have an articulate elected
official on these issues in your community can provide a huge
confidence and innovation boost for government tech efforts. So once
you join, please invite the more wired politicians in your area to
join.
