Dear Friends,
There was an interesting recording of a TV programme this morning with aspiring candidates for Maharashtra's Vidhan Sabha (Legislative Assembly) at Maheshwari Udyan Circle, Matunga in an Irani joint. After a long time I had the pleasure of sipping Chaloo Chai and a Brun Maska.
We had Ashish Shelar (BJP), currently Corporator of MCGM (BMC), Gadgil (Spokes person for I N Congress), Parkar (Mah Navnirman Sena (MSN)), Dolphy D'souza (Independent), Jalindar Bandu Adsule (Loksatta Party). It touched on two important topics. One was on migrations to Mumbai, Uttarbharatiya issue and the other on Infrastructure. I was one of the non candidates invited to participate and had fairly long stints in expressing my views on both the issues, practically opening the innings.
Some of you are aware of my views, but more importantly views of others as well as those of aspirants made it an interesting, if not exciting programme. Many of us have not seen each other for quite a while. This is good time to feast upon me :-}).
So tune in on CNN-IBN at 8 PM (or perhaps 8:30 PM) tomorrow 8 Oct 2009 and send in your take on the issues.
