I once did - and caught only headhunters trying to strike (completely
irrelevant to the position I had advertised) deals. I can understand
not attracting anyone interested in the position I was advertising,
but this was not something I had bargained for. Needless to say, every
one of those headhunters has ended up in my blacklist.

agree like pesky SMS's and calls we get on the phone in spite of being registered as a DND customer. Talking about hasgeek job board these headhunters ignore "It is NOT OK for recruiters, HR consultants, and other intermediaries to contact this employer about this position" . So one thing we can do is let Hageek know who these people are who are troubling us . One other change Hasgeek is trying to bring to take care of this menace is to control the flow of information , like presently once the information is posted on board its upto the person and poster to communicate its free flow . Once Hasgeek start controlling the flow through them they would be able to filter out SPAM , hopefully that would bring in a better experience to all the posters and a good response.

They work around this condition - the ones who approached me wanted to
have "longterm mutually beneficial relationship", not about _this_
position specifically :-)

Please fork this into a hasgeek.com discussion.
